continue walking
in a stupor you stumble
through the opening in my heart;
you’re a bundle of fumble confusion
wanting to untangle and break apart.
there’s a hazy glaze in your eyes tonight,
a sparkle-shine persistent to flight;
your luminescent light radiates and finds
its way to my shrine of beauty and ground.
your symphonic sounds
write notes on the pages
bound together by my
loneliness without you;
i play back the
beethoven-like slander
that i can’t seem to
erase from my halo
of confusion…
you are the illusion of my daydreams
and the thread in my seams;
is there no conclusion
as i’m lead by faint gleams?

You’ve infected me. I’m going to check out some poetry at the local library today. (I’ll read the rest of you too, but I’m trying to make it last). I really like this offering, and maybe poetry too!
Thanks J…i’ll be sure to add more! And let me know if you find anything you like at the library.
